Louise Hahn
On Sunday, May 14, 2023, Louise Manning Hahn passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 94. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Harold Fredrick Hahn, Jr., her parents Paul W. Manning, Sr. and Louise K. Manning, and her siblings Paul W. Manning, Jr., Meryl J. Manning, and Ruth M. Doyle. Mother of Michael (Lori), Paul (Liz), and Mark (Gail). Grandmother of Kevin (Katie), Nicholas (Tam), Christian (Aurora), Michelle (Joe Bob), Melissa (David), Natalie, and Matthew (Brittany). Great-grandmother of Oliver, Cooper, Asher, Gemma, Nolan, Gianna, Henry, Dominic, and Bennett. Sister to Geraldine M. Ross and Philip H. Manning. She is also survived by many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Louise was born November 2, 1928, raised in the Irish Channel, and graduated from Redemptorist High School. She lived in the Carrollton area for over 30 years as a Mater Dolorosa parishioner and over 35 years in Mandeville as an Our Lady of the Lake parishioner. Louise lived a strong, faith-filled Catholic life devoted to her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed family time, walks on the lakefront, her daily prayers, and saying the rosary.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church on Friday, May 19, 2023 at 12:00 Noon with visitation on Friday at the church beginning at 10:30am.
Interment will follow the services in Mandeville Cemetery.
Procession to the burial site will include a ride by the lake which Louise and Bubba enjoyed.
