Louis Paul Vallon Jr.'s Obituary
Louis Paul Vallon, Jr., age 83, of Bedico, Louisiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2026. He was born on November 4, 1942, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Marion Hebert Vallon; sister, Lisa Vallon Smith (Darrell); brother, Ronnie Vallon (Debra); stepson, Duane Leissinger; grandson, Eric Leissinger (Devyn); great-grandson, Liam Leissinger; brothers-in-law, Ken Hebert (Rosie), Ross Hebert (Wanda), Brian Hebert (Jean); and many extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Paul Vallon, Sr. and Engrid Hansen Vallon; daughter, Danielle Vallon; son, Louis Pierre Vallon; and stepdaughter, Terri LeBlanc.
Louis graduated from John McDonogh High School where he was a star basketball player on the varsity team before attending Southeastern Louisiana University. He worked for many years in banking, mortgaging companies, and property management and was a longtime member of North Cross Methodist Church. He was an avid fan of the LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints football teams and enjoyed WWII history, budgeting, and watching “Animal House”

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 2:00 PM at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue, Covington, Louisiana, with visitation beginning at 12:00 PM. Interment will be in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens at a later date.
