I could tell thousands. This one means the most. Chuck was my mentor in life. How to live it and how to love it. I was trying to get him to read a book and he said “i have only ever read one book in my entire life Johnathn Livingston seagull by Richard Bach and that book said it all”. It was at that point I understood why chuck was the way he was. That is my favorite book and I give it to everyone I can as a gift and tell them to pass it on. Thank you chuck, thank you for being you. You will be missed my brother. Peace be with you on your new journey.

What a wonderful sweetheart, always had a smile for everyone. I lost my sweet son, Nat John, he shared his lost of his son with me and showed me how he would get through tough times, he ask me to try his way,I did and found some comfort. He’s so missed, but WOW!! What love he has had in his short time on earth, those of us who had known him are very lucky, guys like Chuck don’t happen that often. I love you Chuck and Melanie

Melanie & all family & friends of Chuck's - God Bless you all - Chuck's memory will live within us for years to come. A special memory comes to mind of Chuck knocking on our door at 10p.m. after Michael had just returned from hospital, he was remembering Michael's love of cheesy bread. What he didn't realize was we had no idea who was doing this crazy thing, and that we were terrified! It will bring a chuckle always.

His love for his wife, his children & grandkids was so apparent, as was his love of his home, family & NOLA! We will miss his smiling face always.
