Lou had an incredible influence on my life as a model railroader. Lou's creativity and love of trains was infectious and he turned me from an amateur railroad buff into a serious aficionado. Thank you, Lou. Say "hello" to Bill for me.
Mr. Schultz you will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathy to your family. He was my family's attorney, and the best in the business.
Seems like yesterday that you and your family were our favorite neighbors on Woodlawn Pl. Such fun times. I can still picture you walking down the stairs on your way to law school. You were a wonderful, kind and gentle man. Have a beer up there with my Dad for me. You will be missed.
Lou's death was a shock. I will miss my old friend from McMain and Fortier. I'm grateful that I had chance to see him and visit with him during the 50th anniversary of our Fortier class graduation. Sincerest condolences.
Lou welcomed me into the Wednesday workday group in 2004. It was a pleasure to work on his railroad and to learn from him. He was always kind, gracious and sharing. My sincerest condolences to Dee and his family.John Miranda and family
My heart and prayers goes out to Lou's family. I met Lou when we were classmates at LSUNO and fraternity brothers in Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity. Frater Lou was the friendliest and kindest man I ever knew. He was a beloved brother in TKE and a true friend. I know he will be missed.May Lou rest in peace.Andy Flores
My most sincere condolences during this time, but know that Lou was a true friend who will be missed. I enjoyed many a day operating his model railroad and never left feeling unwelcome.
Monica, you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
I first met Lou almost 50 years ago, at the Hub Hobby Shop on South Broad Street, so I knew him longer than almost any other of my friends. I will miss him, as will many other model railroaders. I want to offer the deepest condolences for myself, as well as my wife and two sons, all of whom knew Lou.
