“HEY…BAY-BEH”, rings loud and clear as you enter the room. Your reverent stature shadows the floor as you bend over to place a gentle kiss on my cheek followed by the sound of your southern drawl, “how ya’ doin’?” rolled all in one phrase. I will always encompass immense adoration for your thunderous laughter, as I too exemplify. It is always wonderful for the soul.
One fond memory, Melissa (“Meme”, as you called her) and I will never forget is when our boys were 2 and 3 years old, we came down to visit the family. When it was time for us to depart, you graciously agreed to transport us to the airport. That early morning arrived with a torrential rain storm like we had never witnessed before. Till this day, we don’t know how we made it the airport with your driving speed of 100 miles an hour and zero visibility. God surely blessed us all!
I love you Uncle! May God be with you always… Love Angie
