Louis A. Poupart, Jr.'s Obituary
Louis A. Poupart, Jr. died peacefully at home on Tuesday July 24, 2007. He was born September 27, 1928 in New Orleans to the late Louis A., Sr. and Alma Ragan Poupart and was a resident of Abita Springs, LA for over 30 years before moving to Waldhiem.
He was the beloved husband of Evelyn Wallace Poupart; father of Thomas, Timothy, Terrance Poupart, Susan P. McKenna, Allen Poupart and Caroline P. Kustenmacher. He is also survived by one brother, George Poupart, ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Mr. Poupart was a veteran of WW II serving the U.S. Army Air Corps and was Owner/President of Tammany Cab Co. on the Northshore.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family in celebrating the Memorial Mass at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 27, 2007 from St. Benedict Catholic Church, 20307 Smith Rd., Covington, LA 70435.
A meal and a time of visitation will follow Mass at the family’s residence. Interment will be at a later date at the Abita Springs Cemetery.
