Louis also leaves behind his sister, Amanda Leigh Bayhi; his grandmothers, Betty V. Weinmunson and Marian H. Bayhi; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Carmel and Tommy Prejean; three sister-in-laws; six brother-in-laws; two nieces; three nephews; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; all of whom he loved dearly.
He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Louis Lee Bayhi, Sr., Anthony V. Virgadamo, and Joseph Weinmunson.
Louis was an amazing husband and father who loved spending time with his girls. He also enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, building things, riding bikes, coaching softball, and talking about the Lord. Louis had a skill set that enabled him to do just about anything. He loved the sport of rodeo, and proudly with honor, worked as “cowboy protection” as a bullfighter. Louis was a certified diesel mechanic, boat captain, and contractor. He loved the Lord, his family, his friends, and strangers as well. He was the first one there when someone was in need, and usually the last to leave. Louis had a heart of gold and he will be missed by many.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Mary Queen of Peace, 1501 W. Causeway Approach, Mandeville, LA, 70471, on Saturday, November 11, 2017 a 1:30 PM. Visitation will begin at 10:30 AM. A private burial will take place at a later time.
