Louie Jean Magee's Obituary
Louie Jean Magee passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at the age of 79. Louie Jean was born on September 13, 1942 in Independence, LA to Louis Spinks and Noran Athey Spinks.
Louie Jean is survived by her husband of 61 years, Robert “Bob” Magee; her son, Jeff Magee (Melanie) and her daughter, Tammy Rosson (John). She is survived by her grandchildren, Katie Tosso (Paul), Jill Dawsey (David), Natalie Magee and Stephanie Casadaban and her great grandchildren, Sam, Sadie and Sawyer Tosso and Liam and Olivia Dawsey. She is also survived by her siblings, Carol Griffith, Chris Spinks (Rhonda) and Jackie Mooney (Abe).
Louie Jean was preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings, Iris Jourdan, Gary Spinks, Ronnie Spinks, Connie Spinks and Martha Moore.
Louie Jean was loving, compassionate, and most of all a very caring person. She enjoyed spending time outdoors in her garden. However, her true passion was spending time with her loving family. Louie Jean was well respected and liked, and will be deeply and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Avenue, Covington LA on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 11:00 AM with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM until service time. Interment will follow the service in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, 2280 W 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433.
