Lorraine Laura Lavier Resor's Obituary
Lorraine Laura Lavier Resor passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at the age of 78.
Her vocation in life was to be a wife and mother where she exceeded all expectations. Beloved wife of 59 years to James T. Resor. Loving mother of seven children, James T. Resor, Jr., Brian M. Resor, Laurie Resor Salinas, David A. Resor, Lorraine R. Weiskopf, Linda M. Resor and Mary R. Knobles. Daughter of the late Laura Heaton Lavier and Felix Lavier. Sister of the late Ethel Pepitone, Mildred Dewhurst, Rose Marmion, Rita Dempsey, Ruth Marlow, Lawrence Lavier and Anthony Lavier. Grandmother of nineteen and great-grandmother of one.
She was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Tchefuncta Country Club in Covington for the past 21 years where she was a parishioner and committed Eucharistic Adorer at St. Peter Catholic Church.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Peter Catholic Church, 125 E. 19th Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Monday, December 15, 2014 at 11:00 AM with visitation at church on Monday beginning at 10:00 AM.
Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
