Lorraine Bradbury Flood's Obituary
Lorraine Bradbury Flood passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at the age of 91. She was born in New Orleans, LA on October 29, 1929 to the late Elmore Bradbury and Bertha Kubenick Bradbury. She was the cherished wife of the late Elliott F. Flood for 68 years. Loving mother to Barbara Flood Graham (Paul, Jr.), Dianne Flood Wilson (the late Michael J.), and Karen Flood Rogers (Gerald). Lorraine was the loving sister of Judy LaBorde (Richard). She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Paul E. Graham, III (Melissa), Gretchen G. Sakowski (Stanley, III), Keith D. Wilson, Kelly E. Wilson, Mallory R. Boudreaux (Matthew) and Shea P. Rogers (Morgan) and great grandchildren, Faith Sakowski, Stanley Sakowski, IV and Evan Vicknair.
Lorraine is predeceased by her parents and her sister, June Bradbury.
Lorraine was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She most loved her family. She cherished being with them at celebrations and holidays. She was always concerned about others and thought not of herself.
Throughout her life she enjoyed gardening, working in her yard and being outside. She adored and cared for her pet dog, Molly.
The family is grateful to all Forest Manor staff for embracing Lorraine with their love and care.
Due to COVID-19, social distancing is encouraged and masks are required to attend services.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 12:00 Noon with visitation on Thursday beginning at 10:00 AM until service time.
Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, 2280 W. 21st Avenue Covington, LA 70443.
