Lori Firmin Delatte passed away peacefully on Monday, September 30, 2019 at her home in Lacombe, LA. She was born on May 26, 1965 in New Orleans, LA to Jacqueline Hirstius Firmin and the late Benedict Firmin. Lori was married to Read Obituary
Lori was such a sweet and gentle soul who loved her family and grandchildren with her whole heart. She was a wonderful friend. Our children met when they were 6 years old and she and I enjoyed a lot of laughter together right through the end of high school and even beyond. My prayers are for her and her family. Rest In Peace In God’s Love, Lori. I pray her family also finds peace in their memories and love. God bless.
Even though many years have gone by since Lori studied at St. Lawrence the Martyr School, I still can remember her as a sweet, gentle, and wonderful student. Lori always remained close to the Teresian Sisters, helping us whenever possible, and always showing us her love. We will greatly miss her. Count on our prayers for her eternal rest and for peace and comfort for her daughter, and for the whole wonderful Firmin family.
She was such a special lady. Fun and caring. I loved talking with her, and I miss her terribly.

I am so grateful that I was able to see you over the past few years....we loved stopping to see your mom and dad on our travels also. I know you have suffered a long time, and I know you will be missed so much by those that love you....but, I also know you are in the arms of Jesus now and are not suffering. Only He knows all the “whys” in our lives but we must trust Him because He knows what’s best for us. I look forward to seeing you in heaven along with so many more of my family. I will be praying for your family as they go through this time in their lives. God will see them through it.....they are not alone,
