Loretta Mary Laque Plaisance passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2018 in Covington, LA. She was born on December 25, 1929 in New Orleans, LA to the late Franklin Vernon Laque, Sr. and Mary Agnes Bornman Laque.
Loretta was married to her beloved husband, Norris Peter Plaisance, Sr., for 66 years. She was the loving mother of Norris P. Plaisance, Jr., Patricia P. Christensen (Keith), Robert J. Plaisance (Marcy), and the late Susan P. Miller. “Gee” will be dearly missed by her 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Doris Laque Weiser, Audrey Laque, Franklin Vernon Laque, Jr., Harold Frederick Laque, Norma Laque Sciortino, Stanley Nicholas Laque, Sr., Gloria Laque Pons, Raymond Hugh Laque, and Joyce Laque Canton.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 10:45 AM with visitation from 9:00 AM until Mass time.
