Lola "Jackie" Gregory's Obituary
Lola “Jackie” Janette Smith Gregory, age 85, of Mandeville, LA passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021. She was born on August 7, 1935 in Haynesville, Louisiana to Arthur N. Smith of Junction City, Arkansas and Edna Grace Hallmark of Duboch, Louisiana.
Jackie Gregory is survived by her children Laura Janette (Gregory) Jankower and Leah Marie Gregory and her grandchildren Lauren Ashley (Jankower) Dugas, Melanie Michelle Jankower, Danielle Robin Irvine, Nicole Amanda Irvine and Jacqueline Lillian Irvine. She is also survived by her two great grandchildren Gwendolyn Janette Dugas and Gregory Harrison Dugas.
Jackie Gregory was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Roy Lee Gregory and her daughter Karen Marie (Gregory) McNease.
Jackie attended LSU, Baton Rouge from 1953-1956.
She married her loving husband Dr. Roy Gregory on June 6, 1956 in Lake Providence, Louisiana.
Jackie worked as an Executive Assistant at Humble Oil Company in New Orleans, Louisiana from 1956-1959.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, Louisiana in 1978.
Services were held privately by the family on May 19, 2021.
