kelann and Kim: I am sorry I cannot make the funeral today as I am working and cannot get off. Your Dad was a good friend and your Mom was a joy to be with. My prayers and thoughts are with both of you.
In all our lifetime of knowing Lois,Fred and I met very few parents,whose love for their children exceeded that of Lois. Foremost in her mind at all times was the welfare of her children.

Kim and Kelann, My dad called me early this morning when he read the newspaper to tell me about your Mom. I am so sorry that I won't be able to be there for the funeral, I'm back at Whitney, at Poydras Plaza as Asst. Mgr. and I just won't be able to get over there. You know how much I adored both of your parents, I always think of them, especially being back at the bank, they were like having a mom and dad at work. I cannot imagine how you are coping with this loss, but you are in my prayers and thoughts.
