Lois White King's Obituary
Lois White King, age 91 of Covington, LA died on Sunday, May 29, 2016, at her home with her devoted husband Bill by her side. Born, Wednesday, September 27, 1924 in Jackson, MS to Lawrence A. White and Eugenie Heintz White.
Survived by her husband - William McMillen King, sons - William M. King, Jr., Michael L. King (Monika), Timothy M. King, Lawrence E. King, and Patrick C. King (Gina), 11 grandchildren and
14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father - Lawrence A. White, mother - Eugenie Heintz White, sister - Beverly L. White, Brothers - John (Jack) White, Walter (W.A.) A. White, and Malcolm (Mac) deBruce White.
Lois was a lifelong resident of Covington, LA except when she lived in California, New York City and Washington DC with her husband while he served in the Army during the Korean War.
Graveside Services were held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 02, 2016 at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 34888 Grantham College Dr Slidell, LA 70460.
Interment in Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery Slidell, LA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the loving family of Chrishay Berrey, 1805 Mitchell Place, Bogalusa, LA 70427. God Bless Dr. Elizabeth White and St. Tammany Parish Hospice for their care.
