Lois Guimont Buddy, 91 of Covington, LA died on Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington, LA. Born, Friday, September 07, 1923 in New Orleans to Albert Guimont and Rose Guimont.
Survived by her loving Son Edward Buddy (Kathleen), Grandson Robert E. Buddy (Amanda), Granddaughters Angela T. Buddy, and Emily R. Buddy, and Sister Vera G. Dorsa (late John), and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her Father, Mother, Husband Edward R. Buddy, Sister Beatrice G. Lacerva (late Albert), and Brother Earl Guimont (late Vera).
She was a native of New Orleans, a longtime resident of Chalmette and a resident of Covington for the past 3 years. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Altar Society and involved with the St. Bernard Council on Aging.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue Covington, LA 70433.
Visitation on Saturday, November 29, 2014 from 1:00 PM until service time.
Interment in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Covington, LA.
