Lloyd C. Reid's Obituary
Lloyd C. Reid passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at the age of 91.
Beloved husband of 61 years to Kathleen Cooney Reid.
Loving father of Lloyd C. Reid, Jr., Deirdre R. Bouysou, James T. Reid, Patrick S. Reid and Eileen R. LaPlante. Son of the late Stella Amelia Lloyd Reid and Charles Haggard Reid. Also survived by seven grandchildren.
Mr. Reid was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran of WW II, graduated from LSU with a BA in History, was Senior Vice President, Senior Commercial Loan Officer of 1st NBC, and a former member of Kiwanis Club of New Orleans. He was a native of and a longtime resident of New Orleans and a resident of Mandeville for the past seventeen years where he was treasurer of The New Image Club.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass from E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Monday, February 20, 2012 at 11:00 AM with visitation on Monday from 10:00 AM until Mass time.
Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
