Lloyd Joseph LeBlanc's Obituary
Lloyd Joseph LeBlanc, age 81, of Madisonville, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025. He was born on June 25, 1943, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of over 40 years, Rae Ann Daigle LeBlanc; children, Shannon LeBlanc Verdun (Warren) and Keith LeBlanc (Karen); stepchildren, Lynette Beavers, Cindy LaFrance (Jay), Stephen Sierra (Michelle) and Craig Sierra (Jenn); 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sheila Maria LeBlanc; parents, Dewey Joseph LeBlanc and Norma Rose Frank LeBlanc.
Lloyd grew up in the 7th Ward of New Orleans and attended Nicholls High School. He married Sheila Bennett in July of 1964, and they enjoyed nearly 20 years together until her passing in 1982. He then married Rae Ann Daigle in 1984 and spent many years as a banker, ultimately retiring as Vice President of Mississippi River Bank. His favorite pastimes included squirrel hunting and golfing. He was a loving husband, father, and friend, and he will be dearly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial services on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at 10:00 AM at The Chapel at First Baptist Church of Covington, 16054 Murphy Road, Covington, Louisiana, with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, 2280 West 21st Avenue, Covington, Louisiana.
