Lloyd DiGiovanni was my idol. Lloyd and I
moved into our new houses on Sheree Lynn Ct. In 1972. Lloyd was 14 years older than I and was in terrific shape. He
inspired me to stay in shape for the rest of my days. Lloyd had an infectious smile and
since of humor. A dedicated father and
good friend.
I remember when I moved across from Lloyd and Mazie like it was yesterday, even though it has been 12 1/2 years. I used to just go there on the weekends because I was still living with my mother. Well Lloyd gave me a nick name! He called me the Weekend Warrior! He always loved to joke with me. He was like a Father to me and he taught me so many wonderful things for taking care of my home, etc. He never stopped moving! I would go outside and he would be cleaning his mailbox or the outside of his house. I am sure he is joking with God up in Heaven. He was always such a character!!! I will miss him deeply, but I have the memories!!! Rest in Peace Lloyd!!
