Lisa Marie Patterson Gentry's Obituary
Lisa Marie Patterson Gentry age 62 of Mandeville, entered eternal rest peacefully on the morning of Sunday June 26, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Covington, Louisiana on March 11, 1960 to James Edward Patterson and Dolly Rose Morgan Patterson.
She is survived by her mother Dolly Morgan Patterson of Mandeville, and she was the sister of Melanie Patterson Nuss (Gerald) of Covington, and Randall Patterson (Melanie) of Mandeville, LA. Lisa was the aunt of Jonathan Patterson, Sara Dutel, Christopher Patterson, Leah Nuss, Emily Mannix, Elizabeth Nuss, Samuel Nuss and Travis Patterson, and great aunt of Randall Bernard and Orion James Patterson, Leander Michael Dutel, Olivia Louise Pogribny and Ulrich Gregory Dutel. She is also survived by many cousins and lifelong friends.
Lisa is preceded in death by her father James Edward Patterson.
A native of Mandeville, Lisa, graduated from St. Scholastica Academy High School. After high school Lisa took college classes at Southeastern University and Louisiana State University. Lisa had several professional careers in St. Tammany Parish for many years as a Pre Need Specialist and was an administrative secretary. She was devoted to her Catholic faith and a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.
Lisa was loving, compassionate, and very caring person to all. She enjoyed spending time reading. She was unique and irreplaceable, well respected and liked, and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 312 Lafitte Street, Mandeville, Louisiana 70448, on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 12:00 PM with visitation beginning at 11:00 AM until service time. There will be a reception at the home of Melanie Nuss, following mass. Interment will take place on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 10:00 AM in Mandeville Cemetery, 1609 Montgomery Street, Mandeville, Louisiana 70448.
