A life well-lived in service to others; a U.S. Navy veteran, a NOPD officer, a teacher-in the classroom and in the pulpit; a devoted husband, proud father, grandfather and great-grandfather; a loyal friend; a cousin by birth, but a brother of the heart...these are all facets of the diamond we called "Buddy". Our lives are fuller for knowing him. Although our hearts are heavy because of his absence, we are filled with peace and joy, knowing Buddy is reunited with his beloved Louise, in the presence of our Lord, for all eternity. One day we will see them again...as the hymn says, "When we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be...". I thank God for the honor and blessing of having been called a friend (and Yankee cousin) by Buddy. He and Louise will forever be in our hearts and our world a better place for having had them in our lives. May God shower His peace and comfort on Alan, Sr., Missy, Alan, Jr., Amber, Austin, Matthew Arianna and Jasmine. Our hearts are with you... Lindsey and Gail White
