Linda Macalusa Paille's Obituary
Linda Macalusa Paille passed away on Friday, May 6th 2022 in her home in Mandeville Louisiana. Linda was born in Baton Rouge on July 29 in 1948 to Carrie Caracci and Vincent Macalusa.
She was the beloved wife of Joseph Clarence Paille, Jr. for 48 years. Linda was the loving mother of Jodi Paille Farrell (Eric) and Joseph Clarence Paille, III. She was the proud grandmother of Zachary Paille, Joseph Paille, IV, Justin Paille, Christian (Bailey) Tarver and Michael Eric Farrell. . Linda was the oldest of 5 children: Rosemary M Enlow, Pamela M Taylor, Rosalyn M Holland (Dwain) and Gary Macalusa. She is survived by her aunt, Stella Caracci, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A special thanks to Sandra Priest and Amal Mughrabi for their loving support and devotion to Linda..
She was preceded in death by her parents Carrie and Vincent Macalusa, grandparents Eva and Ignace Macalusa and Josephine and Phillip Caracci.
She was a graduate of Woodlawn High School and Southeastern University.
She recently retired from Pan American Labs in Mandeville. She was an avid reader and loved cooking for family and friends.
She cherished a recent trip to Italy with her husband and high school friends. Linda had a gift for bringing people together from all areas of her life from early childhood through adulthood. She was a perpetual optimist and saw the good in everyone.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 3:00 PM with visitation from 1:00 PM until service time.
