Linda Faye Wood Morel's Obituary
Linda Faye Wood Morel passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at the age of 77. She was born on May 21, 1944 in Aliceville, AL to the late Clyde Lee Wood and Willa Dean Sullivan Wood.
Linda was the beloved wife of Charles Vernon Morel, Jr. of 56 years. She was the loving mother of Cary R. Morel, Tami L. Miles, and the late Michael D. Morel. Linda was the proud grandmother of Tricia Ainsworth (Willis), Travis Morel, and Troy Morel; Michael Miles (Treasure), and Devin Miles (Rachael); and Lauren Sibley (Adam). She will also be dearly missed by her 4 great-grandchildren. Linda is also survived by half-brother, Kenneth Davis and half-sister, Debby Davis Downs (Jimmy).
Linda was a devoted mother and homemaker. She took care of her husband and raised her children with love and care. After moving to the Northshore, Linda enjoyed peaceful living at home with her husband, playing with her cats, and eating sugar-free nectar sno-balls. She will be dearly missed by those that knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 2:00 PM with visitation from 12:00 Noon until service time.
