Linda Annette Davis Jenkins passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at the age of 71.
Beloved wife of the late Donald Eugene Jenkins. Loving mother of Sam E. Taylor, Jr. (Tonia Delhommer Taylor, wife). Daughter of the late Ruby Mae Thompson Davis Goss and James Robert Davis, Sr. Mother of Donald "Bubby" Jenkins. Sister of (Deceased sister) Bobby Jean Fortenberry (Late husband, Elmer "Pat" Fortenberry), (Deceased sister) Betty Joan Ingram (Late husband, Herman Ingram), (Deceased sister) Vivian June McIntyre (Late husband, Tillman McIntyre), (Deceased brother) James Robert Davis, Jr. (Josie Cooper Davis, wife), (Brother) Donald Ray Davis (JoAnn Jones Davis, wife), (Brother) Gilbert Roy Davis (Linda Ford Davis, wife), (Sister) Angela King (Aubrey King, Jr., husband) Grandmother of Samantha Ann Taylor (Brent Burlett), Tabitha Lynn Taylor and Trey Jenkins. Great-grandmother of Brentley Caelynn Burlett, Kylynn Rae Burlett, Lexie Dunham and Lindley Burlett. Sister-in-law of Alice Corkern (Late husband, Troy Corkern) Aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.
My mom was a beautiful, loving and compassionate mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She had a heart of gold and touched everyone she came into contact with and would do anything for anyone. She gained her angel wings and now God and Poppy have their loving arms around her. We love you so much and until we meet again watch over us our guardian angel. We will love you always, your son Sam.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Monday, November 13, 2017 at 11:00 AM with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM.
Interment will follow in Barker McManus Cemetery.
