My wife Bobbie and I will always remember our great neighbor and friend, Linda. We met Linda twenty years ago while considering moving to the neighborhood. Her kindness, beautiful smile and humor convinced us that this was the place for us. From the challenges post Katrina, to her willingness to help in our time of need, she was always exactly what one hopes for in a neighbor and a good friend. Bobbie called Linda the “GOAT” neighbor. Her passing has left a blank space on our street and a hole in our hearts. Linda will always be remembered by us as the best of the best. When I turn down Tupelo Court, I still expect to see Linda, Don and Peeps on their walk, always stopping to say hello, always concerned about others. We will never forget our good buddy, Linda, and we wish the best for those she left behind.

Linda will always be remembered by my husband and I as she and Don walked with their son Steven and an array of various dogs. Stopping to chat with them always when we saw one another swapping life stories and doggy tales. Linda was one of the kindest people I’ve met and her husband Don too. She will be missed

You were a better sister to me than my own biological one. I will miss your sweet spirit, humor, and laughter.. I love you
