Lillie Elmer Thompson Bernard, age 96 of Bush, LA died on Monday, January 25, 2016, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington, LA. Born, Thursday, May 29, 1919 in Onville, LA to Hardy G. Thompson and Emma Elmira Thompson.
She is survived by her Grandson - Steven Seal and her Sister - Betty Thigpen. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her Husband - James W. Bernard, Son - Allen L. Bernard, Parents and Brothers - Marvin Thompson, and Ulyssus Thompson.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 29, 2016 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue Covington, LA 70433. Visitation on Thursday, January 28, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Order of the Eastern Star Rite at 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 29, 2016 from 9:00 AM to service time.
Interment in Grantham Cemetery Bush, LA.
