I am my grandmothers oldest grand daughter! I will always remember my grandmas beautiful smile. She had a very giving heart. She was a beautiful person inside and out! She was a very hard worker for the Covington Police Department. She was a very great cook. She always loved to make jars of jelly for people and give to people. She was a very wise lady. I loved her sense of humor! My grandma loved going fishing. The last two times my grandma and I went fishing was when I was five with my brother Cory. I miss out family gatherings around the holidays. Such great memories. About a couple of months ago me and my grandma had breakfast and went fishing at sunset point. It was so nice. I miss all the good times my family and I had with my grandma. My grandma has always taught me no matter what situation your going threw in life always look at the bright side of things! She was loved and missed by many. She will forever be in our hearts and memory. Rip nannie we all love you. Gone but not forgotten! <3

Our lives were tight and blessed in so many ways and we came though a lot with God's help to make everything and everyday stronger to be better in laughter and smiling. Thanks Aunt Lettie for a thousand memories. Rides to swim lessons and garage sales, scrambling as quick as I could in the morning because you were cooking a big breakfast for us all. Sitting on the steps at the big house watching all us children play. Thanks for giving me 4 little bees as cousins. I wouldn't be who I am without those formative years. Thank you recently for your patience in teaching me to make Mawhaw Jelly and putting up with my 300 phone calls to insure I did it right! In God's hand may you feel all the love and glory you so deserve!

I never thought I'd be writing this. My dearest and beloved first cousin of my youth. Oh how we shared so many things in life together. Laughter, loves and life. How I marveled at your ability to love and to triumph over seemingly those things that should have or would have destroyed the spirit of the strongest of a warrior. And more than that, through that life's fire, came through with that effervescent sparkling smile and personality and unbelievable ability to forgive that left me humbled in my ineptness and humility before God. For I knew in looking at God's light that shown through you, that he resided in your spirit and it was by his miricale that manifested in your life that I was seeing his healing grace. Your words were peace, your life was light and love. My heart weeps for you but I know you are safe in the arms of our creator.
