Leslie Neyland Tydings' Obituary
With great sorrow the Tydings family announces the passing of our extraordinarily compassionate, radiant, and resilient mother, Leslie Neyland Tydings. She passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023 at the age of 64, surrounded by her beloved family and friends. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on July 29, 1958.
Leslie was a beautiful and bright soul, and her kindness touched the lives of many. Leslie had a heart of gold—she was quick to help anyone in need and was a deeply loyal friend. Her laugh and joy were contagious, and would have even the most composed person smiling in a second. Leslie was a Registered Nurse and taught yoga and meditation in Beau Chene. She loved hiking and skiing in the mountains of Colorado, traveling with her friends and family, cooking sensational southern cuisine, and learning about health and nutrition.
She is survived by her two loving children Daniel Kenneth Tydings and Sarah Alexandra Tydings, and husband of 30 years Dr. Albert Irving Tydings. She was preceded in death by her parents Joyce Sherman Neyland of New Orleans and Lester Joseph Neyland, Jr. of New Orleans, and brother, Dan Gerard Neyland.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her legacy will carry on forever reminding us of strength and forgiveness, values which she lived by.
We express our deepest gratitude to the care provided by Guardian Angels Hospice and Leslie’s outstanding caregivers.
