Leslie Anthony Scobel, age 86 of Hammond, LA died on Saturday, September 02, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Born, Monday, February 02, 1931 in New Orleans, LA to Leon and Myrtle Y. Scobel.
Loving father of Vanda Lattie (Pat), Luke Scobel (Sheryl), Melee' Gautreau (Kenny), Malter Scobel (Amy), Grandfather of Timothy Lattie, Allison Lattie, Amanda Duplantier, Lisa Scobel, Lain Scobel, Joel Scobel, Ashlyn Greene and GreatGrandfather of Alice Catherine Duplantier, Nora Greene, Remy Greene, and Sheperd Greene, and Brother of Myra Menzato, and Patsy Walet.
He was predeceased by his loving Wife of 61 years - Catherine Vanda Scobel, Parents – Leon and Myrtle Y. Scobel and Grandson – Jordan Gautreau.
He was a graduate of Holy Cross High School, worked at Dow Chemical and retired from Enjet Corp as Vice President of Petro Chemical Sales. He was a member Croatian Benevolent Association.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 05, 2017 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue Covington, LA 70433.
Visitation on Tuesday, September 05, 2017 from 11:00 AM to service time.
Interment in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Covington, LA.
