Just wanted to make note that we have been thinking about Les. I am sure with Nick Saban's departure Les would have gotten fired up, and of course he would have been elated at the way the Auburn game ended too. Enjoyed all of the years working and interacting with Les, he had a unique way about himself that always made you smile. (Partly because he was known for slinging a bit of BS now and again and could keep a straight face).

I remember Les in the late 80's when he was my boss, then when he was my boss again at another company. He sent me to Aruba to investigate some things for an Oil company. I have always kept in touch with Les through the years, and considered him a very good friend. I would stop by his house in Covington on my way home to Pensacola.
Les will be truly missed by many, many colleagues around the world. There are no words to express how my heart felt when I heard the news. At first I did not believe it was true. I certainly wish that I could be there for his celebration of life, and send him off to Heaven. He and his family will be in my prayers until the end of time.
