I was the luckiest person in the world to have Lenny as a friend. We could go months without talking or seeing each other then pickup just like we saw each other yesterday. My wife was amazed that we were so different and were such friends. I said you don't pick your friends they pick you.
I loved Lenny for his passion to Cathy, family, friends, good food, new restaurants, music, jazz, Dr. John, Jazzfest and New Orleans and especially the West Bank. To me, he was the renaissance man of his day. I learned so much from Lenny.
Ellen and I are grateful to have had Lenny as a friend and he will be missed so much.
Love always, Lenny. Ellen and John Riedie
