Grandpa will forever be missed as he most definitely had one of the biggest hearts I have ever known! I will always remember his voice...he just had an absolutely memorable voice and though it came across strong and sometimes harsh, he was ALWAYS loving and supportive! I am so glad I finally was able to introduce my family to him a few Summers ago--such a memorable trip and visit! I was hoping to squeeze another visit in this Summer and we still will to see Nannie and family, but Grandpa will truly be missed! Nannie, we look forward to seeing you and we all send our love and our prayers to you and the family while we all find the strength to pick each other up and fill the void that has been left in each of our hearts! Granpa has left us for now, but he will always remain in our hearts and in our memories! Love to you all!

I remember the first time we met him, so friendly and always smiling. He was a such a good man with a big heart. We have grown to love him n call him Poppa. My thoughts n prayers go out to his family and especially Mammie and their daughters. I know he will be missed by all.
