Leola Lezette Williams Crosby's Obituary
Leola Lezette Williams Crosby, 75, left this life on 10/21/2019 following a battle with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. She was born at home on August 21, 1944 in Varnado, LA. Lezette loved her God, her family and friends. She loved to go to church and work in her yard.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Barney Crosby. Two daughters, Melody Hale and husband Robert Hale, Rebekah “Becky” Crosby and one son, Bronwynn Crosby and wife, Dana. Five grandchildren, Bethany Hale (fiancé Dillan Hitt), Witt Markham, Noah Markham, Maddie Short and Garrett Short. Two great grandchildren, Ripley Eleanor Hitt and Scout Leola Hitt, born this Sunday, Oct 20. Two sisters, Jerry Askew and Sheila Maroney.
She was preceded in death by daughter Shan Crosby, her daddy and mother, Alton and Edith Williams, brothers Alvin and Purvis Williams and her father and mother-in-law, Lonnie and Myrtis Crosby.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at 2:00 PM with visitation from 11:00 AM until service time.
