Lenora Ruth Talley's Obituary
Lenora Ruth Talley passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at the age of 67.
Loving mother and mother-in-law of Milton Richardson Mize and Aimee Jolly Mize. Daughter of the late Mary Ann Weisz Talley and William Richardson Talley. Sister of Duffy Talley, Nancy Talley D’Amico, Jim Talley, Mary Lynn Talley Leach, Genny Talley Davis and Floyd Talley. Sister-in-law of Frank D’Amico, Sr., Doris Baker Talley, Billy Leach, Sr., Norman Davis and Jolene Crawford Talley. Grandmother of Hudson and Madeline Mize. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Lenora Ruth was a registered nurse, an entrepreneur and founder of AmeraCare Home Health and Family Hospice along with several other businesses. She was very talented, energetic and gave tirelessly of herself to her family, her patients and many children in the community. She was greatly loved and admired, a stranger to no one.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at Faith Bible Church, 1148 N. Columbia St., Covington, LA 70433 on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 1:00 PM with visitation at church on Monday beginning at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Lenora Ruth to be made to Faith Bible Church/Kids Church.
Interment will follow in Talley Cemetery in Isabel, LA.
