Dear Warren and family,
Please accept our sincere condolences on the loss of Lela. She was a true professional example of what a nurse should be. Many people still remember her work in the community. She will be missed.

I would like to write a small remembrance of my dear sister, Lela Marguerite Hill Troxclair.
We were great friends as well as sisters, and confided in each other our teenage problems as well as our good times together. I liked to go out with the boys when I was a teenager, my sister was not interested in dating, but this did not interfere with our love and loyalty to each other.
I understood my love for a good time and her desire to focus on her studies as well as other school activities.
Lela met her true love, Warren, and became the great wife, mother, nurse, and grandmother she had always wanted to be. I was always very proud of her and her family.
I loved my sister and always will.

Suzanne and I worked with Ms. troxclair for 10 years at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. She was a role model to all healthcare professionals. She was the last of the "old school" nurses. How we wish more nurses were like her today. Her patient’s care was always her number one priority. If you were a co-worker, you knew to toe the line or else. However, she was always fair and usually right. She was Suzanne's mentor while she was a student nurse training at stph. Ms. troxclair always treated her with respect and kindness. She will be missed by many!! Our condolences go out to all of her family. She spoke about all of you many times...she loved you dearly.
Granny, I know one day we will see each other again. I love you and miss you very much. You helped raise Amy and I. I will never forget your mentorship and love for us. Cheryl, Nicky, Emilia, Anna, and I love you. Please tell my mom, brother, and aunt that I love and miss them dearly. I rest easy today knowing that you all are together in heaven, I love you.
Love, Joey, Cheryl, Nicky, Emilia, and Anna Pedone.
Mel and Bev, just want you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers. We love you and miss being with you more. See you soon.
