Linda:Although we have not met, I want you to know how sorry I am to hear of Allen's (I always knew him as Lee) passing. I am a distant relative of Allen's and also grew up in Middletown, OH. One of my very fond memories was taking a behind the scenes tour of The Greenbriar when Allan worked there. I always thought of Allan (aka: Lee) as one of the good guys! My very best to you!
As a high school classmate, I remember him as Lee and have fond memories of him as a kind and gentle soul. I recall the letter he sent to the reunion committee with his regrets, due to the fact that he was giving away his daughter at her wedding. He was very proud and was hoping to attend the next reunion. My condolences to his family.

Dear Linda, Leigh, and David....so sorry to hear of your husband/dad's passing...I have always admired your family for the closeness, warmth, and love expressed to one another...qualities that can never be lost. I will miss seeing his friendly face at the grocery store talking so dearly about you.....keeping me up to date on your activites. He was so proud of you....loved his family!
