Genevieve LeBoeuf Bourg's Obituary
Genevieve Marie LeBoeuf Bourg went to her eternal rest on Monday, January 7, 2008, in Covington, Louisiana.
Born November 2, 1925 in Bourg, LA, she attended Terrebonne High School in Houma, LA and remained in southern Louisiana most of her life, most recently in retirement in Covington, LA. She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker, and an avid and talented gardener, cook and needle artist.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John E. and Alice Matherne LeBoeuf, her husband, Avis J. Bourg, a son, Carl Joel Bourg, and a son-in-law, Harold Cavallero, Jr. She is survived by her children, Avis Joseph Bourg, Jr. and his wife Suzette Guidroz; Catherine Bourg Haws; Stephen Dunreath Bourg and his wife Renee Patch; and Denise Bourg Cavallero. She also leaves behind five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Friday, January 11, 2008 at 11:00 AM at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 20370 Smith Rd., Covington, LA 70435. Visiting hours will begin Friday at the Church at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow Mass at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington, LA.
