Layton Evans Hood's Obituary
Layton Evans Hood passed away on Friday December 17, 2021 at the age of 96. Beloved father of Glenn E. Hood (Deborah), Mona H. Bellecci (Frank) and Kenneth L. Hood (Lydia); 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Layton was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Helen Turnage Hood and his parents, Sam Hood and Pearl Saxton Hood.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home 2260 West 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Tuesday December 21, 2021 at 11:00 AM with visiting hours beginning at 10:00AM. Graveside services will be on Wednesday December 22, 2021 at 2:00 PM in Lakewood Memorial Park Cemetery 6011 Clinton Blvd Jackson, MS 39203 (601) 922-2123.
