I’m taken back to a time, when Mike and I were first dating. He took me around to meet each of his aunts and uncles. I thought I was being interviewed for the position of his girlfriend. I realized later, how much he respected and loved them, and that he wanted to share our relationship with them. He was so proud of all their accomplishments and I remember in particular, going to Uncle Lawrence’s house for Christmas and how very special it was, when he played the organ and the others played their instruments and, we all sang and had a wonderful time. I also have a fond memory of Uncle Lawrence taking us to see his railroad menagerie. It was so impressive. But most of all, I just remember how warm and sweet he was. Aunt Margie, Lawrence¸ Danny and families, please know that our hearts break for you at this sad and difficult time. We know how much he will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
