Lawrence A. Hennerichs' Obituary
Lawrence A. Hennerichs passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2009. He was born December 27, 1943 in Mandeville to the late Lawrence A. and Eloise Erwin Hennerichs Akin, was a long time resident of Houma before moving back to Covington a year ago.
The beloved husband of Exa Lee Fisher Hennerichs, he is survived by two sons, Raymond and Stephen Hennerichs; three daughters: Wendy Steimle, Heidi Melerine and Holly Tyrney; one sister, Karen H. Toben; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister, Sandra Hennerichs and his brother, Walter “Pee Wee” Hennerichs.
Lawrence or “Bounty Hunter” served his country in the US Navy, he drove hot shot for Ace Transportation out of Houma for many years, he was also a driver and member of the Dirt Track Fan Club.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at 12:00 Noon from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
A wake is scheduled for Tuesday, February 10th from 6-9:00 PM with visiting hours beginning Wednesday at 10:00 AM.
Interment will follow services at the Bonner Creek Cemetery.
