Lawrence C. Charles, on Monday, Oct. 16, 2006.
He was born in New Orleans on September 16, 1919 to the late Allen and Loretta Conrad Charles.
Lawrence is the beloved husband of the late Annie Cleland Charles. He was also preceded in death by a brother Allen, Jr. He was cared for and will be missed by Regina and Doug Cleland, brother-in-law Cyril Cleland and his nieces and nephews. Mr. Charles served in the National Guard and retired from the New Orleans Sewage and Water Board before moving to Covington over 20 years ago.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend Funeral Services on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, Inc., 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433. Visiting hours will begin at 9:00 AM. Interment at the Cleland Cemetery will follow.
