Mr. Laurie Cooney Boswell's Obituary
Laurie Cooney Boswell, on Saturday, April 28, 2007. Beloved husband of Marian Read Boswell. Father of Chandler Gantt Boswell II, Linda Laurette Boswell, Marian Therese Newmark, Jane Chandler Gantt Adams and Charlotte Read Hoolihan. Grandfather of Cress Juniper Johnson, Leaf Chandra Boswell, Hollis Crosby Taggart, Jr., Austin Read Taggart, Hayden Emery Adams and Riley Walker Adams. Great-grandfather of Read Chambliss Johnson. Brother of Jane Boswell Robinson of Vero Beach, FL. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, many friends and pets. Aged 83 years, a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Covington, LA for the past 30 years. He served in Patton’s Third Army during WWII and was a pension consultant for many years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at 11:30 AM from E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433. Visitation on Tuesday from 10:30 AM until service time.
