Larry Richard Brooks passed away on Friday, August 26, 2011 at age 69.
Loving father of Mallory B. Dendinger (and husband Jerry) of Ohio and Scarlett B. Dalton (and husband Jason). Grandfather of Joshua A., Christopher S., Jonathan D. and Rebecca L. Dendinger and Aaron A., Alison A. and Austin A. Dalton. Brother of Sue Ann B. Barnwell (Jerry) and Garland “Chip” Brooks (Sharon). Son of the late Francis Adine and Rufus S. Brooks. Former husband of Janet Wright Brooks.
Mr. Brooks was a native of West Virginia and a resident of Mandeville for the past 30 years. He was an account manager for Albany Industries. Mr. Brooks was a longtime Krewe member of Bacchus and loved the New Orleans Saints.
Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral services at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Tuesday, August 30, 2011at 11:00 AM with visitation on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until service time.
Interment in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery will be private.
