I met Kim through her grandparents who were friends of my Dad and Mom (Sidney and Gerry Carter). Kim was a good friend to my brother Jay. Thoughts and prayers to the family.
I was so young and alone in Los Angeles and Kim took me under her wing and taught me everything from how to be professional in the office to how to make a rue. The best days were when the weather was nice and Mario would tell us to take a day off and have fun. We would always spend that day together, darting around town in her iconic white karmenn ghia. My condolences to everyone in the family and all of us who were blessed to know her. I have so many fond memories of Kimmie girl that I will treasure forever.
This is one loss I will not get over. There will never be anyone like Kim. I loved working with her and felt honored to be a close friend of hers. Rest in peace dear one. My condolences to her lovely mother and family.
I send her family my condolences for their loss.
I remember Kim as such a great person, and always had a great time while working with her at Carolco.
Those were some very exciting times, and she worked so hard keeping things going. I hope that her life was full of joy and happiness.
She will be missed.

The day I interviewed at Carolco Pictures in Los Angeles many years ago,I walked through a room where two assistants were seated. I was interviewing for one of their positions. As I walked by, I glanced over at the two girls. I remember thinking, “I hope the redhead stays”. There was just something about Kim that spoke to me. She was someone who demanded attention.
Kim was amazing. She was fearless. She was a spitfire. Even though I was 6 years older than she, Kim was always the leader. Never afraid to take charge. Kim was one of the most beautiful souls I’ve ever encountered in this world that didn’t deserve her.
I’ll remember her kindness, her joie de vie, her temper, her bravery, her generosity, her beauty, her chaos. She was the definition of an incredible life.
Heaven has no idea what it’s gotten itself into. Rest easy now, Kim. You did good, girl.
