Kevin Joseph Higgins' Obituary
Kevin Joseph Higgins, Sr. on Sunday, January 1, 2006 after battling pulmonary fibrosis for over a year. He is survived by his former wife Jean R. Higgins; six children: Siobhan, Kevin, Jr., Brendan, Brita, Kyle and Lavelle Higgins, and eight grandchildren: Tyler, Shelby, Sebastian, Regan, Faust, Pfeifer, Abigail and Reilly. He is also survived by Carol Dorman, a caring companion. He was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers. Age 74, a native of Cleveland, OH and a resident of Covington for the past 30 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend Memorial Services on Thursday, January 5, 2006 at 7:00 PM from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, Inc., 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433. Visiting hours will begin Thursday at 5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hurricane Katrina St. Tammany Parish Relief Fund (See www.stprf.org.)
