Kermit Carriere's Obituary
Kermit Carriere passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at the age of 68.
Beloved husband of the late Priscilla Latiolais Carriere. Father of Christina Dufren (Jr.), Donna Dufren (Keith), Andy Carriere (Inga) and Dana LeBoeuf (Wayne). Son of the late Verly Olivier Carriere and Andrew Carriere. Grandfather of P-Nut (Melissa), Travis “T-T”, Katilyn “Punkin Marie”, Colby “Ca Co”, Lanie, Doodlebug, Keith Paul, Benne’, Jakey and Abbey “Baby Girl”. Also survived by one great-grandson, Braylen “Bray Bray”; sister-in-law, Judy Latiolais Smith; three nieces and one nephew.
He was a longtime member of Marrero Lodge 479, Jerusalem Temple Shriner and a member of the Oriental Band.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Monday, March 2, 2009 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 with visitation on Monday beginning at 11:00 AM until service time.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to Shriner’s Children’s Hospital.
