Kent Michael Otillio's Obituary
Kent Michael Otillio passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025. He was born in New Orleans, LA on January 7, 1945.
He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Otillio and best friend and son-in-law, Sonny Lewis; his grandson, Michael Lewis. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Audrey Otillio and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife June Mullins Otillio; his parents Norma DiFranco Otillio and John Geniro Otillio; and brothers, John Geniro Otillio, Robert Anthony Otillio and Norman Otillio.
Kent grew up in New Orleans on Frenchman Street where he met the love of his life, June. They later moved to Chalmette where he worked for Norfolk Southern Railroad and retired in Covington. He loved to cook, watch football and spend time with his family. He was calm, patient and kind.
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr. Otillio may be made to the charity of your choice.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial services at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Avenue, Covington LA 70433 on Monday, August 25, 2025, at 11:00 AM with visitation on Monday beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
