Kendyl L. Booty's Obituary
Kendyl L. Booty, age 84, of Mandeville, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2026. He was born on December 14, 1941, in Pineville, Louisiana.
He is survived by his sister, Sharon Dear; nephews, Scott, Gary, and Steven Dear and Shawn Fletcher; niece, Lisa Whitton; great niece, Dawnielle Przylucki; great nephew, Brenton Dear.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Carmel Booty; sister, Raona Zumwalt; and great nephew, Alec Whitton.
Mr. Booty was a 1959 graduate of Pineville High School and a 1963 graduate of Northwestern University. He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1963 until 1969 and worked for many years with Travelers Insurance before his retirement as Senior Auditor in 1993. Kendyl loved golf, tennis, fishing, LSU football and baseball, crawfish boils, dining out with friends, and spending time with his family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 11:00 AM at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue, Covington, Louisiana, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM.
