I’m in shock hearing this after being out of town for an extended period. I’m so sad I missed the service and visitation. Keith was certainly one of a kind. Lived so much the times at St Paul’s watching the boys play ball. Quick witted and always in a jovial state. Gonna miss those conversations greatly.

I was shocked to see Keith had passed. We just spoke on April 18th as we had been doing for the past 30 years. I met Keith while in Denver working at Petroleum Information and we had several get togethers over the years when I would travel to Houston. Our sarcastic natures led to many laughs and I will miss that tremendously. Keith always updated me on his family and I remember looking in the paper every Sundat to see how Dylan did at McNeese that week, he loved his family! Eveytime caller ID showed Keith Long I knew the next thing I would hear would be "what's up you gay monkey", and that's something I will miss hearing. RIP my "slightly overweight friend", I won't forget.

This really hurts Keith. You always kick yourself when you realize all the missed opportunities to spend time with a dear friend after you can’t anymore. Every year for the last 10 we’ve talked about going to the DLS Alumni Summer Dance… and didn’t. Every year you’d invite me to the Christmas DLS football get together at Dickie’s and I’d miss it. This morning I passed the St. Peter’s fair and thought of calling you to meet up there tonight… later I saw Paige’s message and my Heart sunk. I miss YOU Buddy… Love You ❤️💔
