Kaylie Grace Ann Longdon's Obituary
It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, Kaylie Grace Ann Longdon, who left us much too soon at only 24 yrs of age on Saturday, October 18, 2025. Kaylie was a miracle from conception. I was bedridden for most of it. But we held on together, and she finally came to us weighing in at only 2 https://lbs.14oz.and stayed in ICU for the first several weeks until she reached a whopping 5 lbs. Thank goodness she brought her appetite.
Kaylie is survived by her father and his wife, James and Michelle Longdon; her mother; and her sisters, Christie, Hollie and brothers, Wesley and William.
As she grew, it was clear to anyone who met her that she had a radiant inner light that shined through, that many desire but never acquire. An inner beauty and love for God's creation through so much joy and expression of love, she explored her world.
She cared deeply for animals and children. She paid for an elderly man's grocery bill shortage of $8.00, and he brought her back $100 bill later that afternoon. It made her feel alive to be of help to others. I knew as her mother from day one she was an angel, from her early writings and drawings, even her teachers would call me in to discuss her creativity. Talk about a wonderful cook. She enjoyed cooking for gatherings and being a host to brighten any event. She was ahead of her time and it was obvious. She had a communication with animals that was otherworldly.
She filled every room with laughter, kindness and an untamed spirit that couldn't be dimmed. Her strength, humor and love for all will forever remain in the hearts of those she left behind.
She is deeply mourned by a family too large to list, so I will just say everyone who really knew Kaylie knew they were interacting with an angel who was here to touch us with her grace. May we all open our hearts to the very grace and love she shared so unselfishly with others. It's what she would have wanted. It's what this world needs more of!
Rest In Peace Forever Free our Angel! Remembering that love never truly dies, it just changes forms.
